Chalet Marie Stuart is a traditional Savoyard chalet, which was completely refurbished in 2004. The chalet has six en-suite bedrooms and sleeps up to 14 people. This Samoëns chalet accommodation is privately owned and operated, and you can be sure of a warm welcome with every effort being put into making your holiday a wonderful experience.

Our ski chalet is situated in Le Petit Saix, a hamlet just outside the beautiful, historic French village of Samoëns, which gives direct access to 265kms of pistes and five ski resorts, known collectively as Le Grand Massif. The chalet is breathtakingly sited overlooking a small stream, grassy field and woodland, and in the distance has an impressive mountain backdrop.
The chalet accommodation is built on three levels and comprises:

Salon. This warm, comfy and spacious sitting/dining room has an impressive log burning fire. Here you can relax with an aperitif and canapés before enjoying a gourmet dinner, and whiling away the rest of the evening in the company of your fellow chalet guests.

Balcony.
French windows lead on to a generous balcony stretching round most of the chalet and from here you can enjoy magnificent views of the Giffre Valley and surrounding mountains. In summer, you can eat out on the balcony, watch the parapenters soar overhead or the sun go down while enjoying a relaxing drink, or you keep an eye on the rest of the family playing in the swimming pool!
Sitting room. A separate, smaller sitting room can be used for reading, cards, watching a video, DVD or sattelite TV - or just relaxing.

Bedrooms.
The six ensuite bedrooms in the chalet are equipped with king-size beds, five of which can be used as twin beds. Two of the rooms can take a third (comfortable) bed and a cot can be supplied for young children who wish to share their parents' room.
Games and exercise room. This is on the ground floor of the chalet and is an ideal place for you to get fit or for your children to play.
Books, games, CDs, DVDS and videos are all available for you to use throughout your holiday.
Outside the ski season, the games room can also be used for group and course presentations.
Sauna suite. This is equipped with a shower and WC and offers a great
chance to refresh and relax. Although on the day of departure rooms have to be vacated by 10 am, if you are catching a later flight to take advantage of an extra day on the slopes, you can leave your baggage in the games room, and use the Sauna suite facilities to freshen up before leaving for the airport.
Ski and board storage and a drying room are also available on the ground floor of the chalet.
Grounds. Our chalet accommodation stands in its own grounds with ample parking and an attractive garden by a mountain stream. In the summer you can relax in the sun or swim in the pool. In winter you can even build a snowman!
